Message from the Webmaster:

Well, the first board meeting since this site went "live" has come and gone. After a "statement" by Humberto Espineira during the meeting where he personally attacked me and my family with a string of falsehoods and accusations, I feel the need to express my support for this website, and lay to rest the things that were said. This website is HOSTED by Enterprising Technologies at my discretion, and while I am NOT the person responsible for it's content, I have proceeded with my OWN research into the information displayed here and it is my opinion that all information is TRUE, factual, and according to the laws of Florida, Palm Beach County, and the USA. I have an agreement with the party that IS creating this site that all information placed here be TRUE and in the public record. No private legal matters will be discussed. Comments will be accepted from the homeowners, but personal attacks will NOT be accepted, and any legal issues brought up will be posted with the appropriate laws as they apply.

As for the personal attacks by Mr. Espineira, he raised several issues that I wish to refute, and I will now address them since I was prevented from defending myself during the meeting by board president, Mr. Lee.

1. Issue: At some point in the last 4 weeks, the grass in my back yard was 3-4 feet high. He claimed to have pictures of this.

Response: 3-4 feet high during a drought? Not likely.  Pictures? Unless he was trespassing, that is impossible. He owns an more than 8 foot high hedge that is growing into my yard, blocking any view. I also have the 8 foot high wall constructed by Oriole Homes along my back fence, and unless he has an X-Ray camera, visibility into my yard is impossible.

2. Issue: I am using this website and it's name against the wishes of the board.

Response: That is the funniest thing I have heard all day. I was CONTRACTED by the former board president, Mr. Humberto Espineira, to BUY the domain name and create a website for the homeowners association. I did this in good faith, and when I presented my invoice, Mr. Espineira had already resigned due to "Personal desire to spend time with my young family" and my invoice was ignored and denied for 3 months. After the third refusal by the board, primarily by Mr. Tom Galiotti and Mr. Mike Charloff, I consulted an attorney and was informed that my options were to take the board to small claims court or forget about them ever paying. I chose to sell the website to another party, and they graciously decided to maintain the site on my servers. I am HAPPY to provide this service to the community, as I believe it to be the only way to inform the community of the TRUTH of where our board stands under the law.

3. Issue: There has been a "vehicle stored in the driveway for days on end with it's wheels removed."

Response: Yes, that is true that the wheels are not on this vehicle, but that is because I am currently rebuilding the front suspension on this vehicle. Further, I needed to acquire special parts for the suspension that I had not anticipated needing, and I had to wait for them to arrive. The vehicle has ONLY been in this condition for the last 4 days, and that includes the weekend. For anyone who may not be aware, a dealer parts department does not receive any shipments on Saturday or Sunday. Even more, my Grandfather has been in the hospital for the last 5 days, so I have been busy visiting him and not had the time to finish the vehicle. I intend to finish my repairs shortly, if all goes well. I am NOT storing this vehicle, it is being repaired. That is NOT a violation of ANY deed restriction, County Law, State Law, or even Federal Law. If this vehicle was left disabled on a ROAD, then it would be a violation of County Code. Since this vehicle has a valid registration, and is entirely on MY property, Mr. Espineira has nothing to say. 

Please note: Mr. Espineira and I have not spoken in 2 months because I brought a problem I had with him DIRECTLY to him, and received threats of violence in response. My issue with him? He parked one of HIS vehicles on my swale, crushing my grass, while I was away on vacation. It was only because of a chance early return that I learned of his trespassing, and after gathering photos of the incident, I asked him (politely at first) to remove his vehicle from my property. His reply? That I should be a man and bring my problem directly to him. ? huh? That's what I was doing. I said as much, and his reply was: "Well, you obviously don't want to give me the respect I demand, so get the F*** off my property, or I'm going to beat the S*** out of you." I left, and he did remove his car, but we have not spoken since, except when he again threatened me for "giving him an dirty look" while driving into the neighborhood. He then insulted my mother (she was present) and asked me "I just called you mother a B****. Are you gonna come over here and defend her so I can beat the S*** out of you?" He made this threat (with more profanity) in front of several witnesses.

4. Issue: I and my family are responsible for this website and for the flyer that went to all homeowners this morning.

Response: Umm, and your proof is? I am only HOSTING this website, and had nothing to do with the writing of that flyer. I received one too, and do not know who distributed it, but if creating something thought-provoking like that flyer means you will be the target of a personal attack by disgruntled neighbors, then I fully understand why they decline to be named.

I hope this lays to rest the accusations that occurred at the meeting tonight.
